It's official we have dates secured with Erica Lempke at all four locations. The dates and locations are listed below:
September 21 - Sidney, Western Community College
September 28 - Kearney, ESU 10
October 19 - Norfolk, Northeast Community College
November 2 - ESU 3
Our next step will be communicating with Erica our outcomes for her workshop. What is it we want the participants to come away knowing that day? Please give this some thought and share your ideas with the group. The "Erica Team" will compile all of the information and communicate the outcomes with Erica.

We (Erica & Suzanne) visited about the initial workshop she would be providing for our schools. She agreed that having a Foundations of RTI Math was the place to begin with schools. She could provide a workshop that would be centered around the essential elements of RTI and how they relate to math. For example . . . screeners, evidence based interventions, decision making and so on.
I've also contacted Deb Hericks to let her know of our plans. She is included in this email as well. Deb can work with her on getting a contract and making travel arrangements. In addition, we can work with Deb to determine the best way to bill the ESUs involved.
I let her know that we are reading RTI in Math by William Bender. She also suggested Understanding RTI in Mathematics by Russell Gersten and Response to Intervention in Math by Paul J. Riccomini.
